80% Villages in Khordha Dist are Corona Free, Says Collector
Bhubaneswar: The Covid-19 situation in Khordha district is not that bad as it is painted in the media, said Khordha Collector Sanat Kumar Mohanty. Out of around 1,358 villages in the district only 276 have reported positive cases so far which accounts only 20% of the villages, he said. He further said that most of the cases have been detected from four blocks- Tangi, Banapur, Bolagarh and Begunia. Giving detail of the cases, he said, as of now 1,701 positive cases have been detected. While 901 are active cases, 784 have been discharged from the hospital.
