Balangir: A cancer survivor in Odisha’s Balangir district has won the battle against the coronavirus on Sunday, giving a morale boost to the people, who are currently fighting the battle against the highly contagious virus in the State.
Kishore Sahu, who had undergone a cancer operation at Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre in Cuttack, has recovered from the COVID-19 along with his family members.
His wife and three daughters, who were infected by the virus, have also been cured of coronavirus.
Balangir Collector Arindam Dakua has expressed his happiness over the recovery of Sahu from the disease.
Taking to Twitter, the Collector shared a video of Sahu’s inspiring story.
