New Delhi: India’s COVID-19 tally crossed 48 lakh mark and the death toll has neared to 80,000 with the spike of 92,071 new cases and 1,136 deaths in last 24 hours. According to the Union Health Ministry, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country stands at 48,46,428. The number of patients having succumbed to the viral infection in the country has reached 79,752. The country, on average, has been reporting at least 1,000 new deaths daily due to coronavirus disease (Covid-19) for the past three weeks now.
